What we are looking for
Truett Seminary's Wesley House is looking for an organized, efficient Office Manager to provide support for daily administrative tasks and functions. The Office Manager will provide the highest level of customer service to Students, Guests, Faculty, and Staff. Additionally, the Office Manager will communicate and work with the Wesley House Director to increase office efficiencies.This is a part-time position, working 20-28 hours per week during normal business hours.
A high school diploma and five years of relevant work experience are required.
A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are preferred.
Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of various needs of faculty, staff, and students.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
What you will do
- Manage calendar, scheduling, and appointments for Director of Wesley House of Studies.
- Assist director with administrative tasks, including financial receipt submission, booking travel, and coordinating meeting spaces.
- Oversee and delegate tasks to staff members based on director's guidance and priorities.
- Collaborate with Program Manager, Coordinator, and Abraham Chair as needed, ensuring alignment with director's vision.
- Track and manage status of prospective, current, and in-process students, ensuring director stays informed and engaged with progress.
- Facilitate communication and provide support to students, acting as a resource to help maintain strong relationships.
- Schedule and manage Wesley House weekly team meetings and monthly Wesley House Support Team meetings, utilizing the FSI conference room.
- Coordinate and manage recruiting travel for director and other Wesley House staff members, including booking travel and lodging.
- Assist with room reservations for weekly Waco chapel and monthly chapel services in Houston.
- Field phone calls through Microsoft Teams and emails directed to Wesley House, distributing inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with university policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
